Hercules Meals is the fitness-food brand whose searches have grown the most in Spain in 2026: a thousand searches a month for its name, peaking in January. Its promise fits in one sentence: meals with 50+ g of protein, in a FIT or BULK version, from €6.99. The question that brings people here is different: does it deliver? We read its entire website, its shipping terms and the 84 reviews on Trustpilot on 21 September 2026. The short answer: the product is what it says; the delivery, not always.
What is Hercules Meals and how does it work?
Quick answer: Hercules Meals (Hercules Meals S.L., Valencia) sells high-protein prepared meals, frozen, shipped across mainland Spain. Each recipe comes in two fixed versions: FIT (fewer carbs, for cutting) and BULK (more calories, for bulking), always with 50 g of protein or more. You order via a weekly, fortnightly or monthly subscription, or as a one-off purchase, with a 7-meal minimum.
The fact that changes the experience most is storage. Unlike Wetaca, Knoweats or Makroa, which deliver chilled, Hercules Meals freezes everything: according to its FAQ, "we don't use any additives or artificial preservatives, we only freeze"; meals keep six months at −18 °C and are heated for seven minutes in the microwave straight from the freezer, or two minutes if you thaw them in the fridge first. Upside: you can stock a month. Downside: the texture of a frozen meal, and a cold chain that has to hold all the way to your door (more on that in the reviews).

What are the reviews of Hercules Meals like?
Quick answer: Bad, with a very clear pattern. On Trustpilot it has a 1.7 out of 5 ("Bad") with 84 reviews as of 21 September 2026: 80% are one star, 14% five stars and 6% two stars. Trustpilot notes the company hasn't invited customers to review recently, so these are spontaneous. On its own website the dishes show 4.8 scores from a few dozen ratings, which is a different thing.
What repeats in the negative reviews, dated between December 2025 and summer 2026, is not the taste: it is the delivery. Orders arriving late, not arriving, or arriving thawed; weeks without order information; customer service that doesn't answer until the customer insists. One two-star review sums it up better than we could: "idea 10/10, execution 3/10". There are points in its favour too: some users say that, once they were finally attended to, the problem was fixed, which is what its shipping policy promises (free resend or refund).
Context to read it properly: 84 reviews is a small sample, and meal-delivery brands collect negative reviews more easily than positive ones (nobody writes when the meal arrives fine). But 80% one-star is not noise. Wetaca, with 248 reviews, sits at the same 1.7; Knoweats, with 326, has climbed to 4.4 this year. Hercules Meals is the new brand with the old reputation.
What Hercules Meals does well
- The protein is real. 50-54 g per meal is more than any catalogue competitor. If your problem is hitting your protein, two of its meals are over 100 g.
- Price per meal. With a subscription and 20 meals, under €6. Nobody in chilled goes that low.
- A subscription you can pause. Weekly, fortnightly or monthly, editable up to 48 h before billing, with free shipping and, according to its website, a free monthly creatine.
- No preservatives. Freezing replaces additives. For label readers, that counts.
- Coverage. All of mainland Spain within 24 h of leaving its facilities, with deliveries Tuesday to Friday (not the Balearic or Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla).
Where it falls short if you track your macros
Quick answer: Two sizes are not personalization. FIT and BULK are two fixed recipes: if your numbers don't match either, the meal doesn't fit you, and there is no way to adjust it. Add the freezing, the 7-meal minimum and logistics that, according to its own reviews, fail more than is acceptable.
An example with numbers. A 60 kg woman cutting needs around 130-145 g of protein a day and about 50-55 g of fat. Two FIT meals like the Jamaican Chicken are already 108 g of protein, but also 68 g of fat: she has blown through her fat before breakfast and dinner. An 85 kg man bulking has the opposite problem: he is short on carbs. The meal is designed for the claim ("50+ g of protein"), not for the person. The second issue is freezing. It isn't worse per se — some people prefer a full freezer — but it changes three things: the texture of vegetables and rice after seven minutes in the microwave, the need to plan (eight hours thawing in the fridge for the best result) and, above all, the logistics risk: a frozen parcel delayed by a day arrives thawed, and that is what its customers report.
The third is the upfront commitment: 7 meals plus shipping before you have tried one. The welcome discount lowers the risk, but it is still a week of food sight unseen.

Is Hercules Meals worth it in 2026? Our verdict
Hercules Meals has found a real gap: high-protein food at a price nobody matches in chilled. If your only priority is protein, you live in a city with good logistics and you don't mind eating frozen, it can work for you, and the sensible way to try it is the one-off 7-meal order with the welcome discount.
If you really track your macros — protein, carbs and fat squared to your goal — two sizes won't do, however high the protein. And if you depend on the food arriving when it should, a 1.7 with 80% one-star reviews is a warning you can't ignore until its own customers say otherwise.
