Makroa was born from a real problem

Makroa was founded in Madrid in 2026 by Mirko Milano — a 22-year-old entrepreneur who got tired of "eating healthy" meaning a choice between two bad options: cooking everything yourself (hours of prep, weighing ingredients, calculating macros) or ordering generic delivery that doesn't respect your nutritional needs.

The idea is simple but nobody was doing it: what if every dish was weighed out with the grams of protein, carbs and fat in YOUR plan? No S/M/L sizes. Real personalization: if your plan is 1,500 kcal a day and someone else's is 2,600, your chicken and your rice are weighed differently, and every container comes with a label showing your name, its grams, its kcal and its macros.

Makroa works out your macros with the Mifflin-St Jeor formula, cooks dishes you actually want to eat (chicken with dukkah and lemon with bulgur, miso-ginger salmon with freekeh, beluga lentils with squash, egg and feta) and brings them to your door chilled: you order once a week and it arrives in two deliveries.
